We did a sculpural piece, at the Zavitce art gallery in the University of guelph, that used crickets aprroximately 1000 in a pringles chip maze set in a observation box confiscated from the biology department with a series of CD players that were dismanteled and set withing the maze. They turned off and on automatically when a observer triggered a motion sensor. Two lights turned off and on as intermitanly which attrackted the crichets form one side of the display to another. The sound track accoumpanied the natural crickets sounds eninating from the community withing the box. It was displayed on the ground , as yours was, and several speakers eminated the cd audio through out the gallery.
